Introduction:

Robot perception technology and big data processing have already become cornerstone technologies in many global intelligent industries. However, these technologies have been difficult to implement in the less structured environment of agriculture. With the global population increasing and fewer people willing to work in farm, it is essential to develop intelligent agricultural robot perception and big data processing technology that can effectively alleviate the shortage of rural labor force and improve agricultural production efficiency.
For future agriculture, intelligent agricultural robot can be deeply integrated into agriculture to develop intelligent agricultural robot systems and unmanned farms. This could be achieved through automated perception of agricultural environment information, big data processing, quantitative decision-making, intelligent control. This special session provides a platform for experts to present their cutting-edge research, methodologies, and technological advancements in this field.
The session will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Image segmentation and classification;

  • Near-infrared image processing;

  • Real-time perception technology;

  • Machine learning technology in crop baking and drying equipment;

  • Statistical analysis technology in big data;

  • Image processing technology in agricultural robot vision;

  • Deep learning metheds for scene understanding.
